  • Record how many watts each appliance uses. You can find this on some product tags, online, or by using an electricity monitor (video here for using a Poniie 1500 monitor).
  • Estimate how long you use each appliance (approximate hours per day and days per month).
  • Enter one line per appliance or set of appliances (like lightbulbs) that use the same number of watts and are used for the same amount of time.
